Hydrogen is one of the energy sources on which the global economy has set its sights: it produces no CO2 emissions, it can be found abundantly in nature and it is more efficient than petrol in terms of power. It is no coincidence that the European Union supported creation of the so-called European Hydrogen Bank in 2022, the objectives of which are to boost the hydrogen economy and lay the groundwork for its development within a climate crisis context.
Sumcab aims to fully support efforts to overcome this new global challenge and attended one of the major international forums in this niche market - Hydrogen & Fuel Cells, part of the famous Hannover Messe trade fair. This has been done by the business unit Sumcab Projects which is firmly committed to its clients and to offering a meticulous service when designing solutions for major infrastructures, as well as to support services throughout the project lifespan, including assistance on regulations, logistics and other key issues. clave.
Sumcab’s presence at the trade fair was a huge success for the Company as it was able to present the entire portfolio of solutions offered by the company and to explain the various types of projects it can undertake based on its expertise and know-how. Visitors to the Sumcab stand were able to discover all the special cable solutions offered by the Company and especially designed for the hydrogen sector. Of particular note were the low- and medium-voltage cables, instrumentation cables and solar cables.
Furthermore, the Sumcab Projects expert team was also there in person to offer a detailed explanation of all the solutions and projects undertaken by the Company in the field of renewable energy.
The company was extremely pleased with the results from the event. The trade fair was an enriching experience as it provided a first-hand impression of this dynamic, booming and fast-growing sector. The company hopes to attend future editions of this event in order to continue supporting the transition over to a more sustainable economy.
