Sumcab, a company engaged in the manufacture of solutions for all conductor needs in the market, has announced the opening of a new logistics centre spanning 8,000 m2 in Pinto, Madrid. The new premises will further optimise the agility of the service, which has already reached a level of 90% of deliveries within 24 hours.
The new warehouse has been designed with an even more efficient layout and automated operational processes that improve performance and allow orders to be prepared and dispatched extremely quickly. When it begins operating, the company's storage capacity will double from the current 5,000 reels to a maximum of 10,000 reels when operating at full capacity.
Pinto, a strategic location for Sumcab
The new facilities, located within the inner metropolitan ring in southern Madrid and just a few minutes from the centre of the capital, offer excellent road connections and direct access to the M-506 road, as well as quick access to the A-4 and A-42 motorways, the main roads connecting Madrid with the south of Spain. This strategic location reinforces service coverage at a national level and in Spain’s central regions, demonstrating the company's spirit of continuous improvement.
In line with its commitment to sustainability, Sumcab has built the new facilities to comply with the highest quality standards. As part of this effort, the company is aiming for a Very Good Level BREEAM certification, thus strengthening its commitment to responsible and sustainable development.
With this opening, the company strengthens its responsiveness, adding even more value to Sumcab's DNA, which is focused on providing a wide range of solutions as quickly as possible to meet the expectations of its clients.
